In 1957 Hamilton introduced the first electric timepiece: the Ventura. The pioneering, futuristic design established itself as a symbol of innovation and quickly attracted like-minded devotees and one collector in particular who built his career by daring to be different. Elvis Presley was a dedicated fan of the Ventura from its debut. He amassed a personal collection of the Mid-Century Modern design icon and Presley wore the Ventura in his musical “Blue Hawaii.”
